The God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar unveiled a digital game featuring him, on Thursday. The game was developed by JetSyntheys, a game developing firm. Sachin said that the aim of the game is to bring his fans together and experience his journey.
The little master remembered that he used to visit video game parlours with his team mates, and added that he is continuing it even now along with his son.
Sachin said that JetSyntheys Inc worked on developing the game for 2 years. The batting styles were captured in a high-tech London studio where James Bond movies were filmed. Sachin added that he used to wear a special suit with receptors, and show his batting style. 36 cameras were used to shoot his movements.
JetSyntheys Non-Executive Chairman Krish Gopalakrishnan believes that they would get five million downloads in the next three months.
Sachin proudly said that the one million pre-registration shows the interest of his fans towards the game. he said that improvements in game are made based on the suggestions they get. Though Sachin did not reveal clearly, he said he had invested in the game, up to his capacity.
Rajan Navani, the Vice Chairman and MD of JetSynthesys, said that the game will feature 23 languages in future. And Gopalakrishnan added that the game will be provided even to low-end smart phones, thus reaching large number of people.
Navani said the game will feature real time shadow movements, stadium environments and players fielding movements.
